Debra Wimpee
If there’s one person who knows Broken Arrow, it’s Debra Wimpee. A Broken Arrow High School graduate, business owner, community leader, event organizer, and former Mayor of Broken Arrow, Debra has spent decades investing in the city she proudly calls home. After owning and operating a successful boutique in the Rose District, Debra became deeply involved in community organizations, local events, and initiatives that support both residents and businesses. Her passion for connecting people and promoting all the great things happening around town ultimately led to the creation of BA Buzz in 2013. Today, Debra continues to be a driving force behind many of Broken Arrow’s most recognizable events and community efforts. Whether she’s sharing local news, organizing events, supporting small businesses, or advocating for the city’s future, her goal remains the same: helping Broken Arrow thrive. Simply put, Debra loves Broken Arrow—and she loves helping others discover everything that makes it special.
Chase Elkins
Chase Elkins joined BA Buzz in 2017, bringing his passion for community engagement and his deep roots in Broken Arrow to the team. A graduate of Broken Arrow High School, Chase and his family are proud to call Broken Arrow home. While Chase’s professional career has taken him from Boston to Los Angeles and into the television and film music industry, his heart has always remained connected to his hometown. Today, he continues his work as a composer while helping BA Buzz keep residents informed about local news, business growth, community events, and the latest happenings in the area. Chase shares BA Buzz’s passion for championing local businesses and strengthening community connections. His enthusiasm for Broken Arrow’s continued growth and success makes him an integral part of the BA Buzz mission. Together, Chase and Debra work to ensure that BA Buzz remains the go-to source for everything happening in Broken Arrow.
